  1. When did you start at VeriShip?
    • July 5th 2017
  1. What has been your favorite project at VeriShip?
    • My fave project, that’s a tough question, because I’ve worked on many projects since I started at VeriShip. I think I have two – my first favorite was when I joined our company and participated in creating our whole Audit system using new tech stack; I learned a lot! My second favorite is the current project I’m working on, using the latest tech stack to make sure we have consistency in the data across all our databases.
  1. What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
    • To be frank, I’m kind of open book and I’m very bad at hiding things about me. One thing people might not know is, I enjoy speed and driving cars fast, but don’t worry I am safe. When I realize it, it’s too fast, I slow down. That is how I got a couple of speeding tickets 😉
  1. Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
    • There are many people I would love to swap places with. If it is in our office, then our CEO or CTO. Trust me, they are the coolest people. Holding these positions is a very tough task and they do it effortlessly. If it is outside office, then I’ll swap with the officer who gave me a ticket, track him with radar to see check his speeding, and give him a ticket with double points.
  1. What have you gained from working at VeriShip?
    • A lot. Several things come to mind but, one thing that sticks out is the world of technology as a whole. I can proudly say I’m a strong developer that’s ready to face the world with any problem. I may not get the answer right away, but after hard work and critical thinking I’ll get it. I’ve gone through experiences that expand my problem solving skillset.
  1. What’s the best vacation you’ve been on?
    • My all-time best vacation is visiting my parents, Dugini Anand Rao and Dugini Leela Bai back in India. I’ve never been apart from them till I came to the United States. I didn’t know how it would feel when someone leaves their family and goes apart. Every time I get the opportunity I love to visit my family, spend time together, talk, eat together, watch movies, travel together, and then wait for the next visit to my home country.Software engineer at VeriShip
