Operations

THE CHALLENGE

The Operations Associate is responsible for the initiation, follow-up, and reconciliation of refunds for eligible packages. The Operations Associate is expected to gain a thorough understanding of the service guarantees provided to our clients and the steps necessary to secure eligible refunds. Consequently, the Operations Associate is also expected to use that understanding of these processes to serve as a subject matter expert to other internal departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate credit requests for eligible parcel shipments
  • Review and categorize responses from carriers for follow-up/triage
  • Interface with carriers for resolution of freight payment issues
  • Serve as a knowledge expert for assigned carriers/audit points, and provide subject matter expertise to other departments when necessary
  • Provide feedback to Product Owner with ways to improve the audit process and increase the overall efficacy
  • Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operating information and trends
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other responsibilities as needed

THE CHALLENGE

We need self-motivated, confident, and collaborative sales professionals to join our Business Development team.

Your primary responsibility will be to converse with qualified prospects, identify their challenges, and review our solutions with them, then scheduling demonstrations of VeriShip’s software with our Sr. Account Executives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gain subject matter expertise of VeriShip’s solutions within the multibillion-dollar parcel shipping market
  • Make daily outbound calls following up on targeted marketing efforts
  • Initiate and nurture meaningful business discussions with prospective customers to discover key challenges they face
  • Meet and exceed goals for lead qualification and new opportunity creation
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Possess limitless ambition, goal orientation, and a desire to fail fast and learn quickly
  • Intensely motivated by a strong compensation plan

The Challenge

We are seeking a high-energy, intelligent, Sales Administrator who has exceptional organizational skills. This person will work as part of our Sales team providing general operational and clerical support.

The ideal candidate should be organized, dedicated, self-motivated and detail-oriented. They should also have the ability to multi-task and solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to and enable the sales of our New Logo & Account Management team
  • Provide feedback and reporting to Account Managers on customer accounts
  • Utilize the tools necessary to be successful: CRM (Salesforce.com), VeriShip software, etc.
  • Conduct pre-call research to gather company and contact intelligence
  • Update and maintain customer information in Salesforce
  • Partner with other departments to resolve issues that sales team members are facing
  • Maintain customer references and other enablement documents
  • Learn basics of VeriShip solutions, industry trends and competition

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree desired but not required
  • Familiar with sales and support tactics
  • A data-driven person who understands sales processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn and absorb new information quickly
  • Familiar with Salesforce Lightning desired but not required
